Everybody has heard of Disney, but do you know how it all started?

Iwwerks - Disney Commercial Artists

The saga begins in 1919 when Walt Disney and Ubbe Iwwerks form a company called Iwwerks - Disney Commercial Artists. Apparently this doesn't go so well because within a month, Walt decides to call it quits and go to work for the Kansas City Slide Company. Although their company failed Walt and Ubbe Iwwerks colaborated on many projects throughout their lives and remained close friends until Walt died in 1966. Ubbe died in 1971. Winnie the Pooh Wallpaper

Winnie the Pooh first appeared in books written by A. A. Milne. There are differences between the original books and the subsequent movies and books. It all began back in 1924. A. A. Milne always claimed that it was is wife Daphne, and son Christopher Robin who inspired the stories.

Many people wonder what "the Pooh" is in Winnie's name. "Pooh refers to sound Winnie makes with his mouth when he blows flies off of his nose.
